The Minnesota Daily reports the president of the University of Minnesota didn’t give an inch today.

In the statement, Kaler affirmed his support for Athletics Director Mark Coyle and that “the University of Minnesota will not change our values or our code of conduct for the sake of a bowl game.” He added the University should report to the Holiday Bowl Committee soon to tell whether or not the team will participate.
