Perhaps something good can come from the “unfortunate” decision to not allow a Black couple to marry in a church with a predominately White congregation. I am not sure what, however.
And let’s also acknowledge that “unfortunate” is unfortunately not a strong enough term to describe what took place in Mississippi.
